Are you a dynamic and proactive individual with a passion for building strong partnerships and managing key accounts?

We are seeking a talented and driven Key Account / Partner Manager to help us expand our network, nurture existing relationships, and drive growth.


With over 50 years of experience, Salco Industrial Doors is a leading manufacturer of doors for industries such as refrigeration, freezers, and fruit processing. Despite our size, we maintain a warm and welcoming family business atmosphere, where each team member is valued and contributes to our success.


Key Responsibilities:

As an Key Account / Partner Manager, you will be responsible for actively acquiring new customers and driving sales growth. Your main duties will include:

  • Identify potential new dealers and key accounts through market research and analysis. Regularly visit existing dealers to maintain strong relationships and gather feedback for improvement. Establish new partnerships that align with the company's goals and values.
  • Proactively engage with past customers to rekindle relationships and explore opportunities for re-engagement. Develop strategies to win back lapsed customers and convert them into loyal partners.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and programs to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
  • Monitor and analyse key account performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to the management team.
  • Skilfully negotiate terms and agreements with partners and key accounts to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes. Ensure all contracts and agreements are well-documented and adhered to.
  • Represent Salco Industrial Doors at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to showcase our products, network with potential partners, and gather market intelligence.
  • Feeling comfortable and at home in a technical world where you can translate the customer needs into a tailor-made technical solution they need and to do this in the various industries we are operating in.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on mentality: You have a proactive approach to sales and enjoy taking initiative.
  • Strong communication skills: You can effectively communicate with clients and colleagues, both verbally and in writing, in Dutch and English. Knowledge of German, Spanish or French is a bonus but not mandatory
  • Sales experience: You have a proven track record in sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Customer-oriented: You understand the importance of building long-term relationships and providing excellent customer service.
  • Flexibility and adaptability: You are willing to travel, minimal 50% of the time
  • Valid driver's license.
